The unit will continue recording as long as power is on (unless you shut it off). If power is interrupted, the battery backup will keep recording up to an additional 15 minutes. Note: Some vehicles maintain power to the cigarette lighter when the ignition is off, others do not. Records the moments before and after any accident or incident. A single 32 GB Micro SD card can hold up to 48 hours of video storage. When memory is full you have two options. 1) Overwrite the oldest files so you never run out of memory. 2) Stop recording so you don't delete old files. 720 x 480 @ 25 - 30 FPS and 2 Mega Pixel Camera provide DVD quality video recording. Video footage isn't much good if you can't tell who it is or what exactly happened. View video files 3 ways. 1) On the units 2" LCD Screen; 2) TV Monitor; 3) PC. Also a great mobile DVR. Connect most any external video camera or other video source to the AV input (with included cables). You can mount the unit right side up or up side down and flip the video 180 degrees to suit your installation.
